The WHAM – Protec III LSF Chem RX is an advanced concrete finish that combines the durability of a penetrating densifier/hardener with a high performance protective clear coat. It is perfect for polished, steel-trowelled, honed, burnished concrete, grind and seal, cement terrazzo floors and polished overlays. This product is a versatile, easy to apply and ready to use single component. WHAM reacts with the substrate to form a strong bond with the surface leading to a highly durable micro-coating. It seals the substrate, creating an aesthetic, hard, durable, dust-proof, chemical, stain and water-resistant surface.
The WHAM – Protec III can be used as a sealer or curing aid for new concrete at the time of pour.
When this product is used as a sealer, it has an estimated coverage of 9-15m²/L. This is dependent upon use, substrate, texture, density, porosity, application method, weather conditions and the number of coats. If applying as a sealer, the product can be applied by roller, or on honed less porous surfaces should be applied by low pressure spray over substrate, then spread evenly with a fine microfibre applicator.
When used as a curing aid, it has an estimated coverage of 5-7m²/L. The recommended application is by low pressure spray over substrate after finishing operations are completed.
